Hi,

We're looking to move to the area within a year and would like to have a home built. Our preference is the Rockwood School District (Eureka, Fenton, etc). We are currently looking for communities and builders....our price range is 250k-350k. Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks!!!!!

We were recently looking in Fenton/Rockwood SD out of curiosity and I found a great new community. Google The Jones Builders site and check out Williams Creek. New homes in the 250-350+K range. I drove to the subdivision, and it's actually really pretty scenery.

I've heard good things about Jones too. People tend to like them... even 5 or so years later.

Eureka is a community that is experiencing great growth and will be experiencing even more in the near future. "Ashton Woods" is by The Legends (another large subdivision) in Eureka off of Hwy 109. Ashton Woods is in your price range and in an awesome area. Very close access to Hwy 44. It is also in the Rockwood School District...

We, too, are relocating to St. Louis and are looking for new construction in the 250k-350k range. What can you tell me about the Rockwood school district as compared to others in the area? Also, most of the recommendations we are getting are for south county. Are there desirable suburbs in the north or south? What are the places in the county that we should avoid?

We'd have to know more about what you are looking for in a community and what your priorities fro your budget are to better answer your question.
