I'm glad you've settled in well.
And it certainly is cheaper to live there.
The winters may take some getting used to.

Thanks, we've lived in cold climates before so it wouldnt bother us too much. We always look forward to seeing the seasons change...for a change

One thing though...I've been looking for a specialty beer and wine shop here. We have some extraordinary tastes and cant seem to find everything we are looking for.
If you've ever heard of BevMo, we're lookin for something like that. Its a HUGE emporium of all kinds of wine, spirits, and beer from around the world.
If anyone knows of any place like that, please let me know

There's always the microbrewery Schlafly:
Welcome to Schlafly Cyberspace
On another STL forum I attend some of the members get together regularly at the Tap Room.
They're a brewer, though, not like a big store to buy wine. But I've heard good things about them.

This magazine covers places in STL to eat out, as well as bars and stuff.

Thanks, I'll look it up. I like Schlafly's...the No.15 is one of my favorites.
I am looking for more international stuff too. There is a specific Russian Vodka that I must have stocked at all times...can't seen to find it around here. If I order it, it will take forever. It's Moskovskaya

There are other ones too but that vodka is the hardest to find.

Try Lukas Liquor Store in Ellisville on Manchester Road or Randall's Liquor at Jefferson and I-44.
Randall's website shows that they carry your preferred vodka, but it is out of stock right now. Maybe you can push them to get their order in?

I 2nd Lukas.....my husband used to work out that way and would always stop in on a Friday and come home with different dark, odd beers. Their selection is AMAZING! I'm like a kid in a candy store in there....I can never decide what to get!

Thanks...when in that situation, I try for a little of everything, much to my wife's dismay...I enjoy trying new things, especially when alcohol is involved

LOL my SO is the same way. I on the other hand grew up with that school of thought that you pick one beer when you're 13 (In my case living in St. Louis my options consisted of Bud, Bud Light, Busch, Busch Lite, or one of the Michelob's) and drink it until you're 113
