If anyone knows of any place like that, please let me know
For beer, you can also try the Macklind Ave. Deli Macklind Avenue Deli
at 4721 Macklind in the city (maybe next time you're out this way?). They have over 200+ different kinds of beer and a smaller wine selection.

WELCOME TO St. LOUIS

We lived in StL all our lives. Then with a job transfer moved to San Diego in '83. We lived in SD 3 years & just LOVED it.
Our favorite beaches were Silver Strand & Coronado. We were there all the time. Wonderful great memories.

I know your car insurance will go down. When we moved to SD our car insurance doubled from StL price.

Welcome to St. Louis! We are transplants, but only from 100 miles away in southern Illinois. We are from a small town, and we love it here. The people are generally friendly (except for at the usual suspects, like fast food restaurants and Wal Mart which we avoid like the plague any way). When it warms up be sure to visit the Soulard Farmer's Market (I think it's almost 200 years old, just a couple of miles from downtown in the Soulard neighborhood). My wife & I love going to the market on a warm day, getting some food from the vendors and just walking up and down buying some fruit and veggies for way cheap (like 20% the cost of a grocery store, plus you can bargain).
