possibly relocating to stl, need help on finding which area
I may be relocating to St Louis in the next couple of months, and I need help. There are so many areas I'm not really sure which would be the best. I'm a 28-year old female professional, and I would like somewhere safe but also close to cultural attractions and nightlife. I only want to rent as I don't know where my job will take me next, but I will probably will be there for the next year or so, so I don't want to go into executive housing....any suggestions?

Downtown possibly. Most are lofts there, but there are a few apartments for rent also.
Central West End may be a possibility. Lots of apartments there, and MetroLink. University City possibly (it's a suburb, not part of the city).
Where are you working (if you don't mind me asking?)

Also what's your budget?
Look at Washington Avenue Loft District, Central West End, U City Loop, Tower Grove South, Soulard or Dogtown.
If share more specifics we can probably narrow it down a bit more.

Soulard, the french neighborhood, as well as the neighborhood west of anheuser busch brewery, has great nightlife for a young professional.
