Default Dierbergs For Thanksgiving

Hi Everyone

Is there anyone out there who have used Dierbergs for prepared food for a holiday meal? Is the food good or just ok? We are in a furnished apt while our house is being built here in Il.The apt kitchen just has bare necessities so cooking for Thanksgiving will not be possible. There are only 3 of us so I plan on a tukey breast, some sides and dessert.
Thanks
DKVA

Dierberg's does a nice job on their prepared food. In fact, I have NEVER bought anything that I did NOT like at Dierberg's.

Personally, I would recommend the Creve Couer store especially their baked products.

It's quite good, albeit a bit pricey. Call in your order and pick it up from each department. They are friendly and the food has always been a hit.
It helps us out a great deal when I can make some of the food but they excel on the side dishes!

Thank you for your replies-have ordered the turkey breast and sides. Hopefully we will have the same pleasurable experience from an Il store.

Yes-we were pleasently surprised-everything was excellent. The only small issue was that we ordered the jumbo shrimp platter and it was just cooked. We like our shrimp very firm. But other than that I would use them again instead of cooking. What a relaxing Thanksgiving this was for me!
