There used to be auctions in Mexico, Missouri. Haven't been in awhile, though. Lay off whatever it is you're on Southwb

Not knowing what your looking for (???)
There is a farmers market in Silex, MO (about 13 miles north of Troy, on hwy 61) March thru Nov. It is always the 2nd & 4th Sat. of the month. 8am-1pm. The earlier you go the better selection.
Mostly chickens, roosters, dove, ducks, turkeys, geese, other birds as well, goats, puppies, cats, bunnies. Just depends, you just never know what they'll have.
Mexico, MO I think would be a good choice for cows, bulls, etc.
Bowling Green, MO has a cow/bull sales barn .
GOOD LUCK

St.Clair, Mo has one off of hwy 47 towards Union, best place to get info is at Hyaitts Farm equipment auction. There is also one in Owensville, but I haven't kept up with that one much. Good horses get bought and sold there alot of times. My last horse I bought there. She and her colt was the best behaved ones I've owned.

Bowling Green hwy 61 North has a cow sales barn or ask any local farmer if he or any farmer he knows has any for sale.
Roosters aren't so bad. You get use to them crowing. Ours use to crow at the full moon when he was young. He finally figured it out.
Roosters also act as guard (dogs). They let you know if something or someone is around that shouldn't be.
The crow of a rooster is like true country music, only we are strict rock & roll/blues owners. LOL !!!
YES... Roosters belong in the country.....NOT the city or county.

I go to bed at the buttcrack of dawn. And I HAVE heard roosters crowing in south city at that time of the morning. Seems a few imigrants weren't given the facts about farm animals in city limits. I think they finally ate the roosters though cuz it's been a few months now since I heard the dirty birds.
