Looking for a bank that has multiple branches or at least doesn't charge to use another bank ATM (if there is such a thing).

Credit unions are great, if you can find other ones when you need cash. But best solution would probably go into a large grocery store and use a visa debit card, make a small purchase and get cash back. Usually doesn't cost anything, but their are limits to how much cash you can get.

Commerce has a lot of branches.

I had them for years. I wouldn't have switched if they had them in Chicago. Instead I now have WaMu -- funny commercials horrid customer service (They literally stole money from my account and then gave me the run around). I think they got big too fast.

I would think that U.S. Bank might be the largest in the St. Louis area. Here they were originally Merchantile Bank, which was the largest in the area until bought out and then bought again by U.S. Bank. To make U.S. even larger there is a branch in every Schnucks Grocery Store (about 50 stores) and open seven days a week. They actually are a very good bank and community friendly.

Default Google Streetview

Don't forget St. Louis now has Google Streetview!

Google Maps

Most of the city and some of the suburbs have it. It shows you the view from the street. I like to use it when browsing real estate ads, since you can see the house as it looked when the Streetview was taken (probably last fall).

I love the new streetview but I want to warn you, since you use it to see real estate. The homes that come up on an address search aren't necessarily the correct one for the address you're searching. I know when I search my home it shows a home down the street from me, and when I use the arrows to move up to mine the address you see at the top of the photo is 60 numbers higher than mine.

I know. You have to look around a little bit. And not every street is on there. but it's fun to browse.

Brown Shoe Company, Inc. Moves Madison Employees to St. Louis Headquarters

There's probably already a thread on this.

Madison employees that don't want to move will be given severance packages.
