Hi guys! I bought a house and I'm finally moving...
I posted a couple months ago about neighborhoods and where to look.. we spent most our time looking in CWE/U city/Tower grove, and we finally bought a place south of Tower Grove Park (I think it's called Tower Grove Heights?).
Anyways, I love my house and I love my neighborhood....It's colorful and fun and vibrant.... we take possession on the 23rd and my job starts the 2nd... Just wanted to say HI!

Tower Grove Heights is kind of a sub-neighborhood. I believe it's anything north of Utah, west of grand, south of arsenal and east of ... actually not sure what the eastern boundary is -- probably Morganford.

The remaining boundary is Gustine.
Tower Grove Heights is a registered historic district within Tower Grove South. A few years ago, the Tower Grove Heights historic district was expanded to include a few blocks east of Grand, but most of the people in the Heights don't "recognize" the expansion since it includes houses on the wrong side of Grand. Some people in the Heights are very particular about the boundaries, and would blow a gasket if they thought that you would include the area all the way to Morganford! Not me, though, since I live outside the Heights.

Congratulations! Try Pho Grand in the area. Most popular, but deservedly so. Enjoy the park when it gets warmer...it's my favorite park in the city!

I grew up in Tower Grove Heights. Great place to live. Back to visit in Sept. after many years away. So good to see it coming back to life after so many years of neglect and decay. I cried tears of joy seeing so many of those wonderful old homes renovated and many more in the process. I wish you and your family as much happiness there as I had growing up.

We love the neighborhood - Tower Grove Park, Missouri Botanical Garden, and South Grand Business District are wonderful neighborhood anchors. It is definitely a very walkable neighborhood.
