Seriously Ziegler in Rock Hill is a trip. He's at least 60, he rides around on his motorcycle until it gets too cold, and he has no problem giving out tickets for going 4 or 5 over the speed limit. He's a legend around there.
I met him recently, he looked the North end of 60, I'd say at least 70.

I have been dreaming about St. Louis' winters!!
Well, it's all in one's perspective. St. Louis winters are extremely harsh to me and have me dreaming of good ole' Mobile/Pensecola/New Orleans area winters

^^ Dude that's not winter -- it's a reeeaaally long fall, that fades nicely back into spring.

I actually love having 4 seasons. I just wish Chicago's winters were more like St. Louis' and I wish St. Louis' summers were more like Chicago's.

That wouldn't surprise me in the least. Sitting here thinking about it he was probably in his 60s back when I was in middle/high school, so he could easily be well into his 70s now.

He's one of those people that will do their job until the day they die.

My favorite part of St. Louis is simply walking down Delmar and checking out the various shops & restaurants on the University City Loop. I also enjoy the Italian restaurants in The Hill. Autumn in St. Louis looks very nice, though the summers and winters are annoying. On the other hand, I found the level of racial polarization to be very disturbing, especially as the city of St. Louis is 51% black, but the public schools are somewhere around 85-90% and in pretty sorry shape. I must say, the locals tended to be much nicer to strangers than anywhere else I've been, and when you're used to dealing with California traffic, St. Louis' seems like nothing at all!

North Saint Louis City gives the entire metro area a bad rap. North Saint Louis city, what I hate the most.

Racial divides and polarization aren't unique to St. Louis. Even good ol' progressive Austin is very segregated along I-35...west of the interstate is mostly white, and large portions on the east side are almost exclusively Hispanic. The quality of the schools also decrease a lot on the east side. I live in a mixed neighborhood myself on the east side, because it is a lot cheaper than the other side of the highway only a mile away.

We get a decent amount of snow, just not on the level of those cities. Historical average snowfall is around 22.5 inches per year..not to mention we got 30 inches last year. But yeah, the winters and summers are pretty bad here.

A long fall? Are you nuts? Our winters are far colder than a looonng fall. It's like -2 degrees here right now. St. Louis doesn't get as much snow as Chicago, but is only slightly warmer than Chicago's. You're pretending like St. Louis' winters are like Memphis. tHat is more like a looong fall. St. Louis gets cold and usually gets a decent amount of snow in the winter...not like Chicago, but normally between 15-20 inches.
