St. Louis Rams signed Kyle Boller!
The St. Louis Rams signed Kyle Boller on Saturday to be the backup to starting quarterback Marc Bulger.
The 27-year-old Boller spent all of last season, his sixth with the Baltimore Ravens, on injured reserve with a shoulder injury sustained in the preseason. He was Baltimore’s first-round pick in the 2003 draft.
Kyle Boller is 10 years younger than Gus Frerotte, who the player the Rams had been negotiating with to return as a backup. Frerotte was released with a year to go on a three-year contract before last season, then went 8-3 as the starter with Minnesota.
It's going to be a great year for the St Louis Rams!

4-12 at the best, then moving back to Los Angeles due to lack of support.

You're just a little ray of sunshine aren't you?
And stupid too if you think the Rams are going back to LA any time soon.

That's quite the first couple of posts for you.
14 years and counting in Stl, and sell outs for almost all of that time. So, Boo Hoo for you.
To any objective observer the Rams should be around the .500 mark this season, and are definitely headed in the positive direction with their off-season moves, of improved coach, vastly improved ugrade at GM in another stratosphere from before, retiring team President, and solid ownership. The off-season moves were all very good thus far, and the draft around the corner. Very impressed thus far this off-season with the GM, coach, and ownership.

My Bad
Hi Folks,
My Bad - The Rams' 2009 Schedule came out today:
9/13 @ SEA Loss
9/20 @ WSH Loss but close
9/27 GB Loss - crowd will be 75 percent GB fans - Steve Jackson will whine about "fans" selling tix again
10/4 @ SF Win - but I hope Issac Bruce tears it up
10/11 MIN Win - this will be a freak win for the Rams, like in 08 vs. DAL
10/18 @ JAX Too close to call
10/25 IND Big Loss Manning & Co. will blast them
11/1 @ DET Huge Win (pretty sure)
11/15 NO Loss
11/22 AZ Loss but close
11/29 SEA Win
12/6 @CHI HUGE Loss
12/13 @ TEN Loss
12/20 HOU Win
12/27 @ AZ Loss
1/3 SF Win
I'll revise my 4-12 prediction, give 'em Jax and say 7-9 this year, a reasonable improvement. Glad I get to see Warner here one more time, if he stays healthy.

He probably won't make it out of the preseason.

Fans of every struggling team in the league sell tix, especially lower bowl corporate seats. That happens everywhere. I don't care what Steven Jackson says or doesn't say off the field. As long as he doesn't get arrested or commit a crime, or break a league rule, I'm not interested in anything else about him.
The NFL has such high turnover due to its salary cap, where everyone is on a level playing field and everyone has the opportunity to improve greatly, very quickly. You are aware that the Rams won a handful of games the year prior to winning the Super Bowl? You are aware the Baltimore Ravens won a handful of games the year prior to being in the AFC title game last year, and so on?
The Rams will be much more competitive this year, and they are moving in the right direction in terms of ownership, front office, coaching, player evaluation, and roster moves.
It's interesting you are so determined to predict before having much information. Yeah forget the draft, training camp, other things, let's just throw blind darts at a dart board.

Arizona still dominates this division, and St. Louis will improve but is still nowhere neat a playoff-caliber team. If you think otherwise, you are delusional.

Arizona was a 9-7 football team last year. The year prior they didn't have a winning record overall, nor did they have a winning conference record. Last year was the first year ever, that Arizona won the division, and a big part of that was because of the other 3 teams struggles in the division. Arizona has only had two winning seasons in over 20 years in the desert, both 9-7. so I won't be one to get carried away about the success of the Arizona Cardinals.
Arizona has a good, solid football team, but they are far from dominant. The NFL is the parity party. Even 9-7 Arizona was extremely close to winning the Super Bowl. Let's try reading comprehension and what I said. I said that the Rams should be around the .500 mark next season.
You overstate a lot of things.
