Country girl 951 is on a distinguished road
Default Single and moving to hazelwood missouri....

I am a country girl and single mom of three good country kids. I have a job offer in hazelwood and would like to know if this is a safe area to live in? I have searched the internet for pictures and info on the area, all i come up with is a little info on Saint Louis. I am not impressed with Saint Louis and I do not think I could handle it. Does anyone have info on the suburbs of Saint Louis or pictures?
Thanks!

You may want to check out Saint Peters and Saint Charles, both are in Saint Charles county which is just across the missouri river from Hazelwood. From either one, you should have about a 15 to 30 minute commute to Hazelwood, depending on how deep into Saint Charles County you want to live in. Both Saint Charles and Saint Peters are growing suburbs of Saint Louis where nearly everyone commutes to work into Saint Louis. Check out www.gundaker.com to help you in your search. Good luck!

How much are you looking to spend? Are you renting or buying?

So you do want somewhere a little more exurban feeling? You don't seem like much of a city person. Agree with Skip -- to make any real recommendations we need to know your budget and what you're looking for a little more.

Default Moving to Missouri...

Thank you for the replys!

I know I was a little vague...I am a forman for a grading company, which is what i will be doing out there. I am looking for a house/ mobile on a piece of land, like i stated prior we are a country family, so im looking for something we can keep horses ect. on. I would like to find something in the area of 1000. to rent. I am used to driving 1-2 hours to work, so some drive time is not a problem. I am very picky as to schools and the saftey of my children.
Thank you,
Jennifer
