Default Trip Home

Spent the weekend of the 25th showing a Michigan friend my St. Louis. We drove down and stayed for a couple days. Went non-stop to see everything. Cubbie's were in town and there was baseball excitement in the air. The new Stadium is beautiful.

I was proud of my City. We never had a single problem and she commented several times about how clean the city was and how safe she felt. She loved the small town feel.

We did it all..Arch, Union Station, River Boat ride, Forest Park, Soulard Market, Jefferson Barracks, Cliff Caves Road...etc.

Ate some amazing meals. She'd never had an IMO's. The folks at my favorite IMO's on Morganford treated her like royalty when I told them she in town for the 1st time. The City Diner on Grand & Hartford was simply AMAZING. Sunday dinner at Charlie Gitto's was everything we hoped it would be.

I'm proud of you St. Louis. It was so good to be home.
