As ludicrous as you arguing that Paradise Valley is close to a dangerous area. Any major metro area in the U.S. has its good (Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, Ladue, Town and County) and bad (South Phoenix, Mesa, anything east of 170 and north of Olive in STL, east STL, pockets of South City).
Have you been to Paradise Valley? I would not label an area off of statistics on the internet. That's like agreeing that STL is America's Most Dangerous City (which is a crock of ****, as there are so many places worse than STL).

Yeah I have family in PV, and clearly I wasn't calling it a dangerous place, because it's not.
You're the one acting like a troll posting off-topic comments to a question from an OP. I simply called you on it.

The question asks "What are the safest zip codes to live in, in your opinion?" It is not asking "What are the safest zip codes to live in St. Louis, in your opnion?" Wow, one directly and accurately answers a question on this forum and one is labelled a troll...cranky people here, I guess...

This is a St. Louis forum. It is about St. Louis. Any posts not related to St. Louis are prohibited in this board's Terms of Service.
If you don't like those rules, then I guess you'll simply have to leave.

I have heard a lot of people on here saying that North County is an area to avoid but, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the St. John area? Specif ally this address: 3643 Calvert Ave., St. John, Mo. 63114. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Also if anyone has any good websites to search for rentals, other than craigslist, that would be wonderful!

What does that have to do with the safety of the zip code areas? Sure, Clayton and the Central West End (which seems to be what you're alluding to with your parameters) are nice parts of town, but are they safe by comparison to, say, 63017?
