Good children's dentist?
I am looking for a good regular dentist for kids. We live in N. County and I work in Clayton but he/she can be anywhere. I have a doc in St. Charles and one in South County but can't seem to find a good childrens dentist?!

LOL, I hope that's not what that means!
Though I will say, I had probably 3 or 4 dentists as a kid and disliked them all!

Do any kids actually like going to the dentist? Our kids have gone to the same dentist all their lives and he is capable but nothing I would heartily recommend. He is in our dental plan where the choices are limited, and he is still nicer than the previous one we used (only briefly) before the kids were born. These days you only seem to spend 30 seconds with the dentist themselves, and most of the time with the dental assistants who seem to change all the time anyway.

I don't think the kids ever exactly like the dentist. I am wanting the ones that are friendly with the kids and make them feel good and arent rude and scare the kids. And that the parents like too!

I have a dentist for you! Dr. Glen Mueller, a children's dentist. He has a practice with his daughters in S. St. Louis county, on Tesson Ferry. I've been taking my son there since he was 2 and he LOVES to go to the dentist. The entire staff is very patient and friendly; they even have a goldfish pond and treasure chest to pick out a prize after the visit. My 6 year old had his first filling last year, tear free. The location is out of your way, but we live in the city and it's worth the drive to me.

You're welcome! I'm not a native either, so I know how hard it is to find good referrals, esp. for your kids. I feel like the resident mom on here with advice (hee hee).
