Default Calvary & Bellefontaine Cemeteries

Just curious what these cemeteries are like. Are they interesting architecturally and/or historically? It looks like they're pretty huge, which reminds me of Pittsburgh's amazing Allegheny Cemetery.

On the other hand, they appear to be in a pretty "sketchy" area of town, which reminds me of Philly's Mt. Moriah Cemetery. I generally don't worry about stuff like that -- just carry yourself in a reasonable fashion and you'll generally be just fine wherever you are -- but I have to admit that Mt. Moriah was a little off-putting...gang graffiti on headstones, mausoleums that had been boarded up or that had windows stolen from them, etc. I can honestly say that I've never seen a cemetery desecrated to that extent in Pittsburgh.
