Default Help-Self Employed without Maternity Coverage

Hi,

I just became self employed but cannot afford to add maternity coverage at almost $600 a month( my current rate is 220). I want to have children but do not know what to do about the medical bills associated with having a child. My husband is also self employed but has an individual plan. What options do we have available to us outside of paying all of these costs outright. We make about 85k together. Any help is appreciated. I have heard of doctors negotiating a discounted rate but have no clue who they are or even where to find them. Thanks
