Things to see in St. Louis
I lived in St. Louis as a kid. I lived in the suburbs and don't really know the city. I would like to know what I should go see besides the arch when I come? What should I do. I'm coming next July. What is there to do?

July 2010? Kind of early to be planning a trip? Grant's farm, the zoo, 6 flaggs, forest park, the muni, the fox, the pagent (concerts), pops bar (stays open laaaaaaate), strip bars on the east side, the landing (bars mostly for the younger crowd), google those to get some starter ideas.

Check out this thread... http://www.city-data.com/forum/st-lo...rrounding.html - and then after getting better ideas from what is there [take your time, good thing you have a year, there is a lot of material there ] post again with some more specifics... such as how long will be staying, what your interests are [inside, outside, sport, culture, architecture, music, food, etc.], size of the group [or just you], age(s), amount thinking of spending, etc.

If you have kids; Magic House, Grant's Farm, the zoo of course, Science Center is okay, CityGarden downtown, City Museum downtown (its not actually a museum)
If you don't have kids; zoo, CityGarden, Delmar Loop, Laclede's Landing (people say its touristy, I think its alright if you are failry young)
Catch a Cardinals game too!
