Yeah I'm very close to there, not many really exciting stores there. The whole place seems like it would appeal more to middle aged women. A lot of space is still empty. The resturants aren't so great, tried Max & Erma's and it was pretty blah.

I love LSL, but the lack of cultural amenities is my biggest issues with the area. The money that is here could easily support some finer establishments.

This is essentially the Newport Beach of the Saint Louis Metro Area and should at least have some better nightlife and restaurants.

I've only been to Chesterfield mall once. It was pretty empty, however, it had a nice feel to it--the stores are good, the pace isn't too fast, and the people shopping all looked like laid back city people--not pretentious like West County or inner city like the Galleria.
I like almost any Mills type mall. The St. Louis Mills is a pretty cool place to visit.

The Galleria is too pretentious (and I lived by Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza) with mediocre shops. Chesterfield and Mid Rivers are dumps.

I'll stick with West Hills went I need quality merchandise. And their Apple store is much better than the Galleria's

Northwest Plaza. A wider selection of stores.

Even though I hate malls and cant spend more than 2 hours per year in one. Galleria is best by far. Plus its close to the metro so no need to drive and park for me.

Hence the spike in crime at the Galleria!

The metro has little impact on crime at the Galleria. The whole metro crime link is nothing more than a myth.

Yes... it's the layout!! I don't know what it is, but I hate it too!!! Well that and the crappy intersection to get in and the parking situation. Horrible all around.

Haha, would be nice but it's mostly families w/kids round here. All the young hipsters are living in U. City or the lofts downtown. I used to live in the Central West End, it was fun, but getting your car broken into like twice a year wasn't cool.

Ever checked out Donatelli's Bistro on N or Logan's near K and 40? Those places are decent, oh and I forgot Kitaro.

whartonmba is on a distinguished road
A Class: West County Mall, Galleria, Frontenac, Chesterfield Mall
B Class: South County Mall
C Class: Mills

STL people are frugal/stingy and don't care much about malls.
