I think "inner-city" might be code for something else...

Ummm yeah... the Galleria is smack in the middle of Brentwood, nestled by the exclusive suburbs of Clayton and Ladue!? Inner City ? Not quite.

The Galleria is indeed in Richmond Heights (hey, we want that tax revenue!) although the borders to Brentwood, Ladue and Clayton are all in eyesight from the parking lot. I'm going to check the ladies in my neighborhood for those giant rocks on their hands too. I sure know my wife doesn't have one, and I don't want her to get any ideas. I'll keep an eye out for those inner city thugs too; they must be driving pool maintenance or landscaping trucks!

Favorite is the Mills, because it is colorful (as all Mills Malls are) and not bland. Compared to other Mills Malls across the nation, it's not one of the best (not to imply they are that different from each other, but still). I love the Mills Mall in Tempe, AZ. But the one here does have an Hockey Rink for the Blues.

I like the 3-floor setup of the Galleria, love Urban Outfitters, and we live near it ... so it's the most frequently visited. Plus, it's by a metro stop.

West County is good, nice, typical. Love the entrance to Dicks Sporting Goods (and I like the store).

Chesterfield somewhat sucks. South County is ok. Never been to NW Plaza.

I'm not much of a mall person, but when I need a new pair of jeans or a new tool at Sears I stop by South county mall since I live in Oakville or St. Clair Square in Fairview Height because it's close to work.

I live closest to West County and cannot stand it! The parking is awful, it's always packed and they don't have several of the stores that I prefer. In a pinch, I'll go to Chesterfield and I'm not sure why someone called it a dump. They have a nice Borders and a great theater, plus I like to shop at Banana Republic and Gapkids and West County doesn't have either of those.

My favorite is the Galleria and as far as it being "inner-city" not so much unless you consider Brentwood and Clayton the ghetto. I've been to the Mills a couple of times and it's ridiculously crowded.

But honestly, I don't love malls all that much and only go there if we need clothes or I want to see a movie. I've never been a hang out at the mall type of person.

I'm not a big mall fan, but the best in my opinion is the Galleria.

I really hate malls, if I have to go I prefer the Galleria. If I am going to spend the day shopping I go to The Loop.

Galleria or West County are the "best" and that is of course because they have Apple Stores.

The only reason to go into a mall in the first place. And the West County Apple Store is better than the Gallerias.
