I had the most amazing childhood growing up in Glendale. I'll never forget walking home from Glendale elementary and riding my bike down to Brownies. What an amazing place to grow up as a kid. Really the all American little town we all dream of raising our kids in. I'm sure it's changed and I moved to West County in 3rd grade but Glendale will always hold a special place in my heart and my family's heart. So many wonderful things about St. Louis and the midwest.

DeBaliviere is on a distinguished road
Brownie's was a great store. It's now Recycled Rose, an antique store. Hanneke's Market is still in operation though.
