Hey, working at "Washington" University with the initials WUSTL, cold calling salespeople already think we are located in Seattle! This way when ignorant vendors ask me how the weather is here "in Seattle" I can say it is dreary and rainy.. but we are in St. Louis, knucklehead! (I sure won't be purchasing their products.)

With the non-stop rain, limited sunshine and everybody sick everywhere in town, it has been a very dismal October indeed.

It was nice a couple of weeks ago. I miss the occasional sunshine. If I am not mistaken, it should clear up a little bit later this week torwards the weekend.

Well, both Seattle and St. Louis share major facilities in the aviation industry and horrid NFL teams, so there are two similarities....

I've already pointed out Denver had far less success than the Rams in their first 20 years in Denver as the Rams have had in St. Louis. But what are facts?

As to the actual thread topic, it's the rainiest October ever on record in Stl, and so far, 3rd coldest. Biggest difference between this and Seattle is that many Seattle residents don't use umbrellas.

Oct this year is a good reminder for people interested in Stl weather compared to some other places. May-Sept can be counted on for warmer and sunnier. Oct is hit and miss, and this year it's been miss.

(Insert dinsdalepiranha jab at how St. Louis can never compare to Seattle.)

i injured my knee on wednesday, 10/07 and i think i can count on one hand the number of clear days we've had since then...... getting around on crutches in the rain has been a real thrill.........

and my poor dogs are getting extremely stir crazy between me not able to walk them and the dog park(s) being too wet to use........

you know.... i actually prefer the snow to the endless rain and mist...... at least it adds a some brightness for a while.........

and we get a LITTLE break tomorrow and maybe thursday and then it starts ALL OVER AGAIN........

The rain makes me sleepy and lazy.

So hard to get motivated when it's cold and rainy.
