Exactly how I feel. Bulger is not the man for the job. Jimmy Clauson would be a very good draft pick, imo. I am of course not an expert, but he has "it" to me. I think he would be a great QB leader 2-3 years in.

I like Clausen too, but I think we could draft another position with our first pick and still get a quality QB in the second round. We definitely need a QB, but we have a lot of other gaping holes as well right now.

Eh, unless the Rams could land a good free agent QB this time, I would much more insist on getting a (somewhat) sure thing at QB to stabalize the organization (hopefully from a realistuic standpoint, but from a perception standpoint at the very least). Then I could find quality at the other positions in the 2nd round-later or in free agency.

I wouldn't always promote this action, but for the Rams, I wholeheartedly believe this would be the correct course.

I agree. They should start at QB then work down the list from there.

Whom the Rams draft of course, will depend on what they accomplish in free agency prior to the draft.

The Rams have many needs, including future franchise qb, but also immediate needs at WR, DE, and several other areas.

The Rams don't have any interest in Michael Vick.

And the Rammies are about 2 get spanked again by my boys this Sunday. Kurt loves lighting it up in the town that turned against him. Fools.

And that'd be incorrect. No one "turned" on Kurt Warner. He had taken one too may hits, one too many concussions and was no longer effective and viable. Plus he had a serious thumb injury. Lots of time not starting and not starting the next few to several years allowed Warner to overcome these things. Warner is very popular in St. Louis, and for someone who has since moved on professionally to two other cities, he still spends time in St. Louis and he still annually does a lot for charity in St. Louis as well.

St. Louis will always love their Rams! The team is well coached and heading in the right dirrection. I have followed the Rams since they moved to my hometown, and I think more help on the offensive and defensive lines, along with a top line wide receiver could make this team a winner again. Give Bulger (and Jackson) a real line and a true receiving threat, and watch this team become competative again.

Just imagine what Jackson could accomplish if just a few more important parts of the puzzle was in place on this team... and then by him being able to do more, the entire team succeeds, greatly.

A few words on Kurt. (Speaking as an AZ resident and huge fan of the Cardinals.) He is LOVED here. As are Brenda and all seven kids. And we love him for a variety of reasons. His charity work. His family values. His visibility in the community. And because he took one of the worst teams in the NFL, won the job of starting QB as "Old Greybeard" and took us to the Super Bowl!!! (Goodness knows we would have loved to have won that game, but just saying "Cardinals - NFC Champions" is HUGE!!) Not long ago there was a letter to the editor in the AZ Republic by a woman who spotted Kurt standing outside his house with his kids waiting for the school bus and she wanted to point out what a terrific man he is. That's how much we love him!

And when the time comes we can not wait to see him enshrined in Canton. And most fans here think that he will be remembered as a Cardinal who got his start with the Rams. And it is always "Kurt". Never Warner. He's Kurt. Our Kurt.

"Kurt Warner can throw a Twinkie into a toaster." - Ron Wolfley

p.s. Looking forward to the game tomorrow! You guys are going to have to figure out a way to keep the ball from Fitz and Q and Beanie.
