I thought I would do a little series here about buildings that are in need of rehab, undergoing rehab, and completed and occupied.

First up, Cupples Stations

What's left to Rehab? Cupples Stations Buildings

There are many Cupples Stations Buildings. A few going under renovation, a few have already been renovated, and one in particular appears to be in danger.
This one at the southeast corner of 11th and Spruce is of special concern to me.
Spruce at 11th St. Louis - Google Maps
Your web browser and the Maps site are incompatible
If the bird's eye doesn't come up, click Aerial then Bird's Eye.
The owners are Blue Urban (who seem to be doing what they can under the circumstances and have been good for Downtown.) Blue Urban is waiting for more funding to fix the roof.

The other Cupples Station buildings I have seen seem to be doing pretty well right now.

Map of the Cupples Station buildings
Built St. Louis: Cupples Warehouses
The building at the northwest corner of 10th and Spruce doesn't appear to be on Google Maps or Bing Maps. I'm not sure if maybe it was demolished or what.
The buildings at the Southeast and Northeast of 11th at Spruce appear to still be there.
The building at the Southwest corner of 10th and Spruce is there. The building at the southwest of Clark and 10th appears to still be there.
There are 5 Cupples Stations buildings bound by Clark and Spruce and 8th and 9th.
The 2 Cupples Buildings facing 8th Street (or 7th or Busch Stadium Plaza, they all kind of run together) and Busch Stadium are part of the Westin Hotel.
According to builstlouis, that block has 5 buildings (with the building at the southeast corner of Clark and 8th as two buildings). Every other map I have seen makes it appear that the building at the corner of Clark and 8th is one L-shaped building.
According to http://www.blueurban.com/ballpark-lofts-9/ the building just east of the highway exit and south of the intersection of Spruce and 9th is sold out already.

The Westin Hotel is apparently where the Mets stay when they are in town. Ballparks of Baseball-Team Hotels

This is a grainy picture I took. These strange windows are likely from a long-demolished Cupples Station building. Still neat, though.
