Good plan. However, the links I posted are all crimes very near to where I live. So, it's hard for me to get out of dodge.

I feel better, it was just that one night with the Maplewood robbery and the Ladue incident that got my worked up.

Hey, mklein49, as a fellow Richmond Heights resident, I feel the same way as you 100%. When we first moved to St. Louis years ago we lived in Dogtown about 2 blocks from the most recent robbery, and now we live halfway between the robbed GameStop and the rape/burglary on McKnight. It just goes to show you that these kinds of crimes can happen anywhere. As for the Maplewood GameStop criminals, they appear to be the same duo that hit the Culpeppers in the CWE and the Yellowstone Cafe in Town & Country. Isn't it nice of them to help bring crime into the nicer areas of town too? I wonder that they were doing Saturday evening, cruising up McKnight looking for handicapped women to assault?

I live within a few blocks of that as well...I must have slept through the sirens this morning. Likely it looks like they were literally driving around looking for someone to rob at 5 in the morning. Hopefully the victim recovers.

That part of Ladue is pretty rough - I always lock my car doors when traveling McKnight between Clayton Rd and Ladue Rd

That was actually pretty funny. My God, there are people on this forum with a decent sense of humor...

When I drive that stretch of McKnight I always have to restrain my desire to speed, especially driving southbound. I don't want to be caught by the Ladue Police, who probably feel delinquent catching speeders compared to their Rock Hill and Brentwood counterparts further south on McKnight (speed trap central). Hey, that's the kind of crime much more typical in this part of the county, along with that horrible suburban crime, "rolling a stop sign".

What are you talking about? I've always enjoyed sixtwobaldguys' spot-on impression of a paranoid, slightly racist middle-aged white guy...

Yes, and you also said "I see why people move farther and farther out." The links and stories were provided to you to show that "moving farther and farther out" is obviously not going to protect you.
