Even though you may not be a troll, you are still guilty of giving racial identity more value than it deserves. If white people happened to be on the board of a company that was harmful to ESL it doesn't mean that white people are bad - thats inductive reasoning which you should know has no place in logical thought.
I find it ironic that the theme of your post is to lay blame on the types of people who exploit a region for monetary gain only to end your post with this: "IT FEELS GOOD TO MAKE A $120k AND NOT PAY TAXES". By not paying taxes aren't you exactly like the people who anger you? You make a decent salary and don't pay a cent for the roads/schools/police/fireman that you take advantage of every day, and you seem to be proud of it too! Seems awfully hypocritical to me.

WHAT I SPEAK OF IS A HISTORY OF EXPLOITATION BY CORPORATE AMERICA WHICH IS VERY MUCH WHITE. HISTORY F THE AREA INDICATES A WHTE MAJORITY DURING THE FIRST HALF OF THE CENTURY, SO IT'S CLEAR THAT CORPORATE AMERICA HAS NO PROBLEM EXPLOITING ITS OWN. BUT AT THE SAME TIME DON'T PRETEND THAT ESL WAS A GARDEN OF EDEN THEN EITHER B/C THOSE SAME AREAS IN BROOKLYN AND VENICE THAT HOUSE THE STRIP CLUBS AND GAMBLING DENS TODAY HOUSED THOSE SAME PLACES BACK THEN -- COMPANY OWNERS AN THE POLITICAL MACHINE (BOTH ALL WHITE) OWNED THEM.
TODAY, ALL INSTITUTIONS, INCLUDING POLITICAL AND CRIMINAL ARE MAJORITY BLACK BUT THAT'S B/C THEY COULDN'T AFFORD TO LEAVE THE TOWN LIKE THE WHITE POPULATION DID BACK IN THE 60s.
MY ANALOGY IS TO ENVIRONMENTAL RACISM. I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE RACE RIOTS OF TULSA IN THE 1920s, BUT I WOULDN'T LIVE THERE AFTER WHAT WHITE AMERICA DID TO THAT BLACK POULATION.
WHAT I SPEAK OF IS PREDOMINATELY BLACK AREAS BEING MADE THE HAVEN FOR WHITE CORPORATE AMERICA'S DUMPING GROUND. BLACK AMERICA GETS THE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX ALONG WITH ITS HAZARDS AND NONE OF THE JOBS OR PROFITS. THAT IS THE SCENE TODAY IN DETROIT, CAMDEN AND PATTERSON, NEW JERSEY, GARY, INDIANA, RURAL MISSISSIPPI AND LOUISIANA, ETC...
RACIAL PREJUDICE IS THE BACKSIDE OF THIS ARGUMENT NOT THE CENTRAL POINT.
AS FAR AS MY INCOME IS INVOLVED. I PAY SALES TAX AND PROPERTY TAX LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. KNOWING WHERE, WHEN TO PUT MY MONEY TO CREATE ENOUGH LOSS (ON PAPER) TO AVOID INCOME TAXES IS CALLED EXPERTISE. ASK ANY CEO. I LEARNED IT BY PREPARING ASPECTS OF THEIR TAX RETURNS FOR YEARS. YOU CAN STEAL WHEN YOU OWN NOTHING AND THE CORPORATION PAYS YOU NO SALARY.

So copying the CEOs behavior is correct when it comes to avoiding paying your income taxes but incorrect when selecting factory sites? Its ironic that your role models are also your enemies.
I don't disagree that American and ESL histories are speckled with corporations abusing populations, but you need to remove the racial implications from your story. The St Louis Rams are overrepresented by African Americans but that does not mean that their actions represent African Americans as a whole. Corporate America has been mostly white for a while and when the majority of America is white it makes sense that its corporations would follow suit. You attribute too much to race in your quest to pin ESL's troubles on a boogie man. The boogie man may work for a corporation but it doesn't have a race.

I spent years creating their tax shelters why would I not do the same for myself? I have no role models in the boardrooms of corp. America or anywhere else.

I can't remove race b/c half of the comments re: this thread are racial.

Let's hope not, some of us like winning.
Corporate America has been mostly white for a while and when the majority of America is white it makes sense that its corporations would follow suit.
White is not the dominate color in South Africa, or the former Dutch Rhodesia or anywhere else on the African continent. Yet, they subjugated the entire continent.

Maybe so, let's just say, the Boogieman sort of fits that description, like I sort of fit the description in certain cities, towns, and neighborhoods

Back in the 1950's, East St. Louis was Model City USA. Whites moved out and blacks moved in. Corruption was and is rampant.

No, the white man simply went over to Africa and were proppersitioned by the Africans to take on their own men for cheap labor. Which sounds to me to be a lot like Hispanics who come over illegally and work for pretty much nothing. So, instead of crying about how the white man did you and how disadvantaged you all are with your own Black History Month, MLK holiday, BET.. why don't you get back on the boats and take it up with your ancestors? Who by the way only sold those who were murderers, rapists and theives.. How can you blame them for wanting to get rid of the undeseriables? What would happen if there was a White History Month or WET, White Entertainment Television? It is pathetic that there are still so many people who try to play the race card.. You were not apart of it, it is over. Was it right? No, it was not. But it is always overlooked that it was the Africans themselves who sold their own to the white man.

You've got to be kidding me? Don't get me wrong I don't agree with people living in the past. Slavery is over, and African Americans should not use it to fall back on. Everyone has the ability to control their own destiny. There is more than enough opportunity, and if you want it, go for it.
But unfortunately, racism still exists. For you to imply that slaves brought over from Africa were killers and rapists is completely ignorant. You really need to check your facts. It's people like you and your way of thinking that continue to fuel the race issues in this country. And yes African Americans have every right to use the term African American when refering to themselves. If that's where their ancestors came from, that is what they should call themselves. And you using the term "blacks"? WTF?... are we in the 60's now?
