Because your driving in on Route 3, a fairly busy street. Of course your not going to have any problems just 'driving thru' on one stretch of road.

Yeah, but I drive state street or missouri ave. to get to route 3.

My husband is from East Boogie-right off state st. and Vogel Place.

Sorry but that place is a dump. It is depressing, run down and dirty. Many of the residents are really nice people as long as you treat them with respect. This I LOVE about visiting there.

East St is ONLY Illinois. Missouri folks will hurt folks over that slip of the tongue : )

Why would you do that? Where do you live, if you dont mind me asking?

Saying these tales about E. St. Louis are urban legends is pretty ridiculous. It has a murder rate twice that of Compton, CA.

I hope one day E. St. Louis can make a comeback. There is so much history there that is quite interesting. However, I do not see how its possible.

I usually come in from Belleville, it's a bit more direct than taking the long way of 255/64/3.
