I am an artist living out of state right now and I am wanting to move back to St Louis. When I lived there about 6 years ago I knew about these lofts on Washington for artist only. I can't seem to find much contact information about these lofts. I am really wanting to find out more about them and get on a waiting list or talk to someone that can help me get into one of these because they are very reasonably priced to help out artist . Please contact me if you know anything or anyone that could help me . I really need to find a good reasonable place to work/live before I can move back . I live in Alabama right now and to tell you the truth it just doesn't have the kinda art scene that I need to thrive in .

I assume you mean this?

Tim Boyle’s ArtLofts at 1527 Washington was one of the first loft developments downtown. It opened in 1996 and currently has a waiting list for its 63 apartments.

Is this the ArtLofts you were referring to?

You could try that phone number, though it may be out-of-date.

Google Maps says it is about a mile from ArtLoft to Busch Stadium, and a half-mile to Scottrade Center but there appears to be 2 MetroLink stops within a block or so of the ArtLofts.

Here's some history of the ArtLofts as well
Built St. Louis: 1527 Washington Avenue

STLCards is correct about the distances. Nice walk in good weather. Or short MetroLink ride. Go [insert team of choice]!
