Has anyone heard yet if they are going to re-do the Subies????????? Please say yes!!!!!!! They are so flippin UGLY right now. I've been in love with Subaru since like 2000 before the STi was even in the US....... and I loved the body styles up until the most recent ones.
It looks like a sad little family sedan right now! UGH! I liked the MEAN aggressive styling it had before. With the big hood scoop and boxy look of a rally car.
I bought a new car in July and I was TOYING with getting a Subie, but when it came down to it I just couldn't buy the new ones cuz they are so butt ugly!
Does anyone know if they plan on restyling them???????? PLEASE say yes!
They were just restyled for 08. I doubt you'll see anything significant any time soon. Sorry.
yaaaaa....... but they restyle every two years anyways...... look at 02-03 and then 04-05 was diff. and then 06-07 was diff... sooooo with the pattern they're already goin..... 08-09 will be the same and then in 2010 it should be restyled........ yessssssssss?

If you already had what you believe is the answer, then why did you ask the question?
cuz there IS no definite answer as of yet.......... Subaru hasn't said whether or not they're going to redesign..... so I was wondering if anyone out there KNEW..... sheesh!
Look at 01-02, same car but new front clip and lights. Look at the 08-09 Forrester, same car but new front clip, grille, and somehow slightly different body. Subaru has figured how to to change their cars quickly, if only slightly, without breaking the bank. But no, I surf the ususal auto sites and haven't seen anything.
One I haven't checked lately is the NASIOC site and forum. They always know what's up, so google them up.
I would love to have an STi in the new hatch body style. Honestly I wasn't fond of the super ricer look of the previous generations. They stick out too much, I like subtlety.
If I would have bought an 07 STI, I would have removed everything to make it look like a base Impreza.
If you get one of these little buzz bombs I suggest arranging for a DMV credit card to make paying the speeding fines easier.
hahahahahah! that's funny. Cept I don't need a FAST car to get speeding tickets........ I do just fine getting them with my lil four banger I have now!
