A friend just called me and after 2 weeks on this food grade product for IBS she reports success after what seems like a lifetime of IBS. She bought it from Amazon which is the link posted now, but it could be available other places too. It's so great to hear a SUCCESS story and I trust this friend...that's what it's all about -- telling others what has worked for them...
Talking to my friend last evening and she is out of her mind with happiness and I told her she sounds like so many reviews on amazon from other hundreds. This product is from Germany originally then Italy and now in Canada. I don't deal with IBS but I almost bought it but thought differently, the Jarrow Bile Acid Factors are doing what I need for constipation issues.
Here's what makes me suspicious with reviews.... all those reviews and nothing before March 2017. I suspect they are fake.
I noticed that recently with something I was curious about (magnetic fake eyelashes) and one Amazon vendor had lots of great reviews.... all within days of each other.

If you look at what is in kijimea, the science seems sound.
bifidobacteria strain B is apparently abundant in mammal digestive tracts, especially in breastfed infants, and is responsible for digestive health apparently.

Yeah, over 355 reviews all made up by Amazon. I write reviews all the time and they are published.
It's very new in the U.S. how about that for a reason. It's origin is in Germany, Italy and now comes out of Canada....it's catching on.
How often do we find something that really WORKS...my friend has suffered for years and she was so ecstatic she couldn't wait to tell me. She wanted to make certain it was helping her. She is the one who wished she had gotten on grape seed ex many years ago..

I'm not sure, I know what to look for on fake set-ups though... not saying it is, saying it is suspicious.
I didn't know you could patent a bacteria, guess I never really thought about it.

I'm suspicious of a lot of things too. We are just suspicious of different stuff. There is a lot we don't know. Probiotics are made of bacteria strains and no patent on these otc supps. Kijimea is an otc. Walgreens sells it too, but more than Amazon price. My friend says one needs to give it a month at least, it worked for her in 2 weeks, so depends on severity and the person.

This IBS miracle stuff also looks to be very pricey to me. Not saying it might not help ( who knows?), but depending on the dosage needed to alleviate symptoms, someone could be putting out quite a few bucks there for that "cure.". Or perhaps there is a source that's cheaper than Amazon.

A large percentage of managing gut issues is getting the right bacteria in there and appropriately multiplying. Great to have another good probiotic to try, since it can be so individual.
