Drinking at least three cups of tea daily cuts the risk of a heart attack. A new study found that in addition to being heart-healthy, tea may also help make bones stronger. This is in direct opposition to earlier beliefs that the caffeine and fluoride in tea had a negative effect on bone health. The study found other bonuses from tea including improved alertness and mood levels and protection against cavities.

Glad to hear this, mainly because we drink lots of tea. Something in coffee irritates my gums, and kidneys, it seems. It may have something to do with the acid.

I think your article only refers to the heart benefits, so I would like to add the one which cites the other things you mentioned:
BBC NEWS | Health | Tea 'healthier' drink than water

Since dairy is thought not to be assimilated in the adult body of most people and a main cause of food allergies and stomach problems, I enjoy my tea with unsweetened soy milk(Silk, green container). The majority of soymilks have way too many carbs.
