Default Focus Factor alternative?

This question is for anyone who is familiar with vitamin/herbal supplements... specifically multivitamins:

I've been taking Focus Factor for a couple years now. I believe it's really helped me in my daily routines. With money becoming tight, it's becoming harder for me to afford to purchase it (usually in bulk from eBay). Does anyone know any cheaper alternatives to Focus Factor? I googled it but, of course, was bombarded with ads for similar products... all at similar prices.

I'm looking for a vitamin/herbal supplement that will give me similar mental clarity and energy. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Here's a place that sells Focus Factor at a discount VitaminDeal.com - Focus Factor - Supports Memory Concertration Focus Factor - Buy Cheap Focus Factor

I checked the ingredients and it looks like all Focus Factor is made up of are some essential fatty acids notably the Omega 3's especially DHA which helps the brain which you could get separately from a good company like Nordic Naturals. It also has B-complex Vitamins which aren't expensive alone and then it has some trace minerals which do help with energy which you could also get. Trace Minerals from Trace Minerals Research. If you got these separately and took they might work better than Focus Factor because of the higher amount of active ingredients than what is in Focus Factor. You can get them all at a good health food store. Or www.thevitamineshoppe.com has most supplements as well as most of the good brands.

Why don't you look at the ingredients and go to WalMart or online, and buy each of them individaully.

ONe of the active ingredients is probably L-tyrosine and that helps your body to make dopamine, the neurotransmitter that those with ADHD tend to be low in.

Also, I don't know how opposed you are to taking pharmas, but my adderall rx only costs me $5/month with my insurance plan.

Focus Factor, ya I looked into that some years ago. But I was quickly disappointed, as there is nothing outstanding about this product. It's an overpriced ripoff. Do some research on amino acids, vitamins and herbs, there's no reason to buy a product marketed as Focus Factor has done. At least they were taken to task for claims they could not substantiate. Still I read ads from various retailers saying its been "clinically proven", yet no studies or data have been produced to prove such claims. I just hate it when people market something in this way, people buy without doing any research and today with access to the internet there is no excuse for not doing a little investigating before ya buy. I personally found Choline to be the best single thing for mental clarity.

Marketers of the Supplements “Focus Factor” and “V-Factor” Agree to Settle FTC Charges and Pay $1 Million

I agree Todd. Can you tell me more about the choline like what form you take it in and how it helps? I've heard that it can help you dream more and will help your memory since it boosts acetylcholine.

I've been taking Brainstrong but I'm not sure how much it's helping. I used to be great at memorization but ever since I had my 2 kids, my youngest being 3, I swear I cannot even look at more than 2 words at a time when I'm trying to copy and type words. My memory is awful now, particularly short-term memory.
