Interesting...I've never heard of it before. There are so many small lakes and ponds around here, that it's not even funny. So, I would think it would be pretty easy to find something.

Also, the southern Adirondacks are not very far and are very beautiful. Long Lake, The numbered lakes around Inlet, NY, Raquette Lake, Big Moose Lake, and Indian Lake are all a lot further from the area but within 2-3 hours drive and very much worth the extra effort.

Yes. It would be for a vacation property. Just a small something on a lake to have fun with the kids. I'll look at all the lakes mentioned. Thanks so much for your help.
