I have a question to ask you... ...we all know Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching (It's November already! My favorite holiday of the year! Yes, Christmas is actually 3rd!) and I am trying to find a place to go out for a turkey dinner?
Now we all know if you have been a native to CNY that earlier this year Plainville Turkey Farms Restaurant (I think in the end it went by a slightly different title.) was the best of the best for Thanksgiving Day! Unfortunately it shut its doors for good after many years being open in January 2010. I already miss the Turkey buffet! Awe!!! The place was packed am I MEAN PACKED on Turkey Day! I do not know if we will have a true dedicated place like that restaurant for Thanksgiving in our area again.
So I am in the process of trying to find a good replacement in the CNY area that serves good quality turkey dinners. I am looking for a place that offers a variety of fixings that go along with the bird. It would be nice to find a buffet style turkey restaurant again, but any fare would be great.
Please provide me ('actually us here') any names and locations of such places in the CNY area that you can recommend that serves a good turkey dinner (open of course on Thanksgiving Day).
Okay, range of CNY if your asking:Western Most Point: Geneva, NY (east of Rochester); Eastern Most Point: Fort Plain, NY (west of Amsterdam); Northern Most Point: Adams, NY (south of Watertown); Southern Most Point: Whitney Point, NY (north of Binghamton) (Draw a circle around these 4 communities and that is the radious.)
