How do I go about renting a beach for a wedding? What beach is the nicest? I really want to get married on the beach but I am not even sure its possible around here, lol. Any advice?

I'd start here and see what beaches allow you to rent at least a portion of the sand and maybe have facilities on-site or very nearby, for the reception. beaches

Check here: Onondaga County Parks, Oneida (http://onondagacountyparks.com/oneida - broken link)

Town Of Cicero, NY (http://www.ciceronewyork.net/parks/index.php - broken link) (There is a small beach on Oneida Lake that the town runs)

Sylvan - Verona Beach Resort Association, Sylvan Beach, NY
Sylvan Beach, New York

Delta Lake State Park - NYS Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation

Sandy Island Beach State Park - NYS Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation

Central Region - NYS Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation

Another suggestion could be to have a wedding near one of the Finger Lakes or in Oswego near Lake Ontario at sunset. Breitbeck Park would be a great location in Oswego for a wedding. City of Oswego

I recently went to a wedding at this location in Geneva right next to Seneca Lake: Welcome To The Belhurst Home Page
