Apparently, Winter isn't over yet and wants to make sure we're AWARE of it. Yesterday morning dawned on a muddy, grassy yard without any speck of snow still on the ground... pouring rain and 45 degrees. 12 hours from when it really started to snow? Over 2 feet.

(My husband is a shovelling GOD. :P )

I went to help a friend dig out, a mile away, and this was the view out of her back door. (They'd already cleared all they needed, btw.)

It's been a few hours since we shoveled and salted. The sun is out and...

(That lump across the street is a car... you can see the sideview mirror just barely sticking out.)

TAKE THAT, Old Man Winter- we can handle you anywhere, anytime!

I definitely did NOT pay attention to the forecast at all yesterday because I was shocked when I woke up this morning!! The snow was easily up to my knees in the driveway. It took me over a good half hour to shovel JUST enough to get my SUV out. I keep saying that every time we have a decent snow melt and we can see grass, the next day we get something like this

Seriously! lol - ALL the snow was gone, as of yesterday morning. Not even the mountain that had accumulated over the entire winter was left. I trekked all over the yard, getting good and muddy, and picked up all that garbage-y debris that scatters/collects over the winter... and I sure am glad I did! I only wish I'd known how quickly we'd get this so I could have taken a picture for a good "Before..."

Anddddd there is less than 2.0 inches here on the SUNY Oswego Campus - such a tight West to East gradient!
