Man, Becca......I hear you, but I think you're going to like Philly. It's only 4 hours away. So, when you have time and can swing it, you can just make the short trip up.

Oh yeah, I'll be back for sure. I will always have ties to the Syracuse area, especially because of my house. Time to go write the next chapter!

If anyone has travel plans today remember to allow extra time. I always hate when a storm hits on a holiday. I feel so bad for kids that have to think of that day as the day mommy and daddy died.

The state roads are somewhat cleared. The side roads are very bad. Roads that yesterday everyone went 30 mph today half the people are going 10 and the other half are going 60 and passing on double lines.

Allow extra time. Let the heat clear you glass BEFORE leaving the driveway. Keep the defrost on, crack a window if it gets hot. Asking a NYer to not text and drive would be silly but keep it to a minimum. Wear sunglasses because of the glare off the snow.

I don't wanna read any stories this year. And more importantly I don't wanna get hit by somebody driving through a peephole.

It is nice to see a local company doing well and growing. Hopefully, it will continue and stay here in the area.

Judging by their committment to the area (investments) and being a family-held company, I don't see it relocating. Sounds like they are committed to the area for the long haul, esp. with their new ultra-pasteurization technology. Based on comments in the article, the State seems very supportive as well.
