I have an apple tree in my yard and late every September the apples fall and make a mess but I just leave them and they are gone in Spring.

Well they been falling like crazy past couple weeks and today I noticed they are about all gone.

Does my tree have a problem or is it to hot/cold/wet/dry for apples this year??

I'm not sure... last week, Channel 9 reported that the orchards were saying the apples would be sweeter this year because of the weather.

Your tree or the environment in which it is growing is most likely the issue. There is a regular apple tree across the street from my parents (outer University area in the city on a busy street) and also a crab apple tree in their back yard. Neither of those loses its apples until early fall - typically mid September. You might have a variety whose fruit matures very early but it still seems premature.

No, its way early this year.

Maybe its dying, would be a shame but them apples are a pain. Stink like vinegar in the Fall. Should be real ripe in the heat in week or two.
