Hello everyone, I am looking for a 1-2 bed room apartment that is in a safe and nice area. My new wife and myself will be living with a small cat and small dog. Both under 10 lb.

Price range would be about:
1 Bed Room 600-700
2 Bedroom 700-800

Does anyone have any sugestions? I am having terrible luck and all the review sites say only Negatives. Any one know anything about Lakeview Apartments?

Thanks a bunch!

I know, but it is a good guide for finding the apartments you like and fit your criteria. Lakeview, from what I've seen doesn't seem to be bad and I doubt that those that like an apartment will write a review. Just something to keep in mind.

I know nothing about those apts, sorry I have 2 dogs so I know how hard it is to find pet-friendly housing. The only apt complex I lived in was Westminster and I absolutely hated it - would never go back! Are you set on a complex or would you also be open to living in a flat? There are way more flats available through Craigslist, although they wouldn't have the same amenities of a complex (pool, gym, etc).

Also - stay away from any apartments behind the Gold's Gym on Morgan Road. While some of the complexes are ok, there are bad ones peppered in there and they are ALL connected

I don't have experience with Lakeview Apartments, but I lived in the Norstar Apartments in Liverpool...they are on Henry Clay Blvd. Norstar Apartments - Liverpool, New York Pretty reasonable, they have a small gym, community pool and elevators for moving in/out...along with optional garages. It's a huge complex, just be super careful turning left out of the complex should you decide on Norstar. I've seen really, really bad accidents there. People drive pretty fast in the parking lot as well.
