Wow Bella, I keep stumbling upon yet more threads of your pics & I love looking at them.......I didn't think I was going to see anything in Syracuse or Clay until we move there. I really like Syracuse, I agree about that building, it reminds me of the one in NYC also.
Although I was born & raised in Iowa, I have always loved big city environment & loved every minute of my visit to NYC in August, Syracuse will do for now........but someday hope to be in NYC!
Thanks for all the pictures, Bella.........good job! Keep 'em coming lol.

Wow, gorgeous pictures.
Wish I lived there. Way better than here.
I have a stupid reason for wanting to live there, though - The weather.
I love snow.
We don't get enough of it here in downstate NY, and I'd love to sleep with a window opened in the cool CNY summer nights, as opposed to having to crank up the AC every night because the temps don't fall below 80 degrees!
Oh well. Maybe one day I'll find a job over there, find a nice apartment, and be happy.

Thank you homansweets and EugeneBKLYN!
Muggy, I'm really not sure if this is the right building (correct me if I'm wrong) this is the best I have of what I believe is the Styleen's area
building on the left...in the shadow?
just past this intersection?
I don't know downtown as much as I should.

Bella, stop trying to win me over! LOL! I'm now thinking "Hmmm...Scranton or Syracuse?" LOL! You're beginning to make me consider heading on up there to restore an old Victorian rowhome, open up my own firm, and raise my family. You're a great mentor; look for my next photo tour of Wilkes-Barre, which will hopefully be coming next week.

I know this sounds crazy, but it would be cool to see some photos of the most run-down areas. I mean, the worst, most decrepit areas of the city, just to see how they compare to the most decrepit areas here (of which there are many). Would be interesting. I have some pics myself- how do you post them on here?

Exactly! I've been to Syracuse many a times. It's not all nice and bushy. There are some pretty wretched areas there too. But it's always nice to see the good stuff.
