Hey folks!
I will be moving to Syracuse early next month. I am a fellow from Italy that will be studying at ESF campus as a grad student. I have been in the States over for years now, so I am accustomed to almost everything.
I put down some money to secure an apartment, now I am not sure anymore about what I did. The apartment is in the James Crest Manor complex, at the intersection between James and Dewitt (close Sedgwick street). There is a Crouse hospital building right in front and some other business activities nearby, if you are familiar with the area. My only concern is safety: I hate to feel unsafe (plus my girlfriend will be staying with me!). Please feel free to comment and give me hints.

thanks guys

Safe location. A little quiet, mainly residential. 15- or 20-minute walk to restaurants and bars. And maybe about a 10-minute walk to a bus line that goes to ESF.

Thanks man, you made my day! I feel better now. I don't mind the distance, I have a car. I am quite excited to come live in Syracuse frankly. I hope I will have a great experience.

Don't worry, it is a good, safe area. You aren't too far from some shopping either.
