Default Townhomes & Apartments In Metro Syracuse/Suburbs

Our budget is $1200/month max, though we would like to stay around $1000. We are also open to townhomes or condos, we just really need an apartment with the right amount of space! Maybe I'm asking too much but we generally have a ton of guests so the space is a must. We don't mind being in the suburbs as long as it doesn't take too long to get downtown (no more than 30 minutes I would say).

My fiancee works for Cargill and it would be good if his commute was around 40 minutes or less. We don't know anything about the area and are feeling some trepidation moving so far away when we're having so much trouble finding a good place to live.
Hello jeebs89,

I think I know the type place that you are used to where you live in Colorado. I have 2 complexes that I think would be your very best choices considering the amount of space you are looking for.
.................................................. .................................................. ...........................................

The first apartment complex is The Hammocks at Timber Banks at the far east side of the Baldwinville area and close to the Liverpool-north area. There is a golf course and a boat marina AT The Hammocks, so your could play golf with your guests or rent a boat and take them for a cruise on the canal/river and cruise eastward to Onondaga Lake Park at Liverpool/Syracuse city OR you could cruise farther eastward to BIG Oneida Lake near Brewerton/Cicero and go boating on 32 mile long Oneida Lake; you could also cruise the Oswego River/Canal northward to Oswego city and to HUGE Lake Ontario. There is great major multiple shopping plazas & Mall on Route 31 at Expressway 481. I think "The Hammocks" would be your best selection.

The second apartment complex is brand new. It is Rivers Pointe (not on the river/canal) at Liverpool-north. Some features at River Pointe are: Cable included, washer/dryer hookups, swimming pool, fitness center, elevators; garages available at extra cost. The great multiple shopping plazas & Mall located on Route 31 at Expressway 481 (same area as The Hammocks) is nearby. This would be my second choice for you.

I had 4 privately owned (not by me) rental townhomes to suggest to you but 3 of them were quickly rented. I only have 1 left to suggest to you so I'll send that to you in a private message so no one else views it listed here and rents it before you even get a chance to see it. If you like the townhome you had better contact the rental/real estate agent immediately even before you arrive here; you can make arrangements to see the townhome. Nice, excellent, desireable townhomes and single family homes in good, safe middle-class neighborhoods get rented VERY quickly.

I also have a lot of information for you about other townhome/apartment complexes that you can consider, which I will include in the private message.

Feel free to contact me anytime if you have additional questions.
