Has anyone used movers for a local move in syracuse area, any recommendations?

I tried getting online quotes and made phone calls to couple but most of them never answer/return ur call.

Have you tried Dimon & Bacorn, Inc? I used them for my move across town last month and they were great...no issues at all.

I've used Pelligra twice, excellent service both times.

I recently used Pelligra's to move most of my parents' major furniture etc from University area to Dewitt. They answered phone on second ring, gave me immediate pricing, showed up on time, were highly professional and very fast. For local moves they will give you price per hour for a truck with X number of men (It think it was $149 per hour with two or three guys.) You have to pay their travel time from their facility to your move from location and then from your move from location back to their facility (for us it added about one hour in total to the price.) For under $600 including a $20 tip to each guy I moved the contents of three bedrooms, a living room and a dining nook. There was lots of other miscellaneous stuff that was easier to move on my own but I think their prices were great. I called a coupel of other places and got voicemail.
