Hi all,

Sorry it's me again lol

My husband and I are buying a house and need to replace some of the flooring (mainly in the bedrooms and hallway/steps- around 1000sqft). Since we are only going to be in the house ourselves for no more than 3-5 years and then intend to rent it out, we were thinking about carpet (decent quality, but since it's not intended for longterm use, price will be a big factor). Normally, I search for reviews before I commit to a project like that but I can't seem to find anything. So far, Carpet One seemed to have the best selection and warantee (if I don't like the carpet for any reason, they will rip it out and put in a new one) but not sure about their reputation.

I would also consider a better quality laminate, my husband prefers hardwood but the installation costs are just a bit high, I think especially because my hubby doesn't feel comfortable putting it in himself.

Any input? Thanks

We've had had very good carpet experience with Onondaga Flooring, good price, quality and installation. You also may try Hardwood floors by Steven LaBeau. We had all our floors refinished by them, and pre-finished wood flooring installed in a hallway and master suite. Great job, great prices.

Richmark. I've used them many times, always provided excellent work at a fair price.
