Hello, I will be moving to the area with my husband and 2 children ages 2 and 5 months. I do to want to buy a home right away. Any suggestions on rentals? We do not want to be in the college area...maybe clay or Liverpool? Any help would be appreciated!

You need to give alot more info. What is your price range? What amenities are you looking for? Do you have a car? What things would you like nearby? Where will you be working? Sorry, this post is way too vague to give you specific info

Sorry, i will have car. I would prefer laundry in the unit and hopefully a playground. I am open to the area since the commute wont bother me. I will be near the airport. Family friendly is important. Budget up to $1100

If you're just looking for apt complexes, you can do a search on Apartments for Rent | Apartment Finder and Rentals Locator | Apartmentfinder.com
Once you narrow them down, we can gladly give you advice on specific complexes

For flats or houses, your best bet is Craigslist

Just to add to this great advice, the walk score website has some of the craigslist listings on a map and can give a score for the walkability of the location of the rentals available. Syracuse Apartments and Rentals on Walk Score

Also, as of just recently, Craigslist has made up for (or revealed the reasoning behind) shutting down the other mapping sites, and now has a tab that shows the apartment listings on a map as well.

Not sure about the Hammocks at Timber Ridge but the area around Great Northern Mall is fine in terms of safety.
