Syracuse has a lot of highways for such a small metro

I think somebody forces them to read every post in every thread.
Also they don't understand opinions vary. Your opinion is your opinion but there opinion is Canon Law.
For example we could all look out our doors right now. I been out all morning and my feet are freezing and socks may be a fact today, its gloomy as crap out and today is a 100 perfect example of why I think NY weather SUCKS!!!!
A homer would be happy we didn't get 15 feet of snow dumped on us and gush about what a glorious day it is to be in NY.
If you like being inside I guess today is your day.
Huh? Actually, today is warmer than yesterday. I think the point Becca is making is that the OP has a reputation and that an original post will start one way, then go in a completely different direction. It seems like there are multiple topics within a one topic thread with a vastly different opening post. I've known the OP from the General U.S. forum and know how the OP posts.

Did you guys know that the unemployment rate in the Syracuse metro area is 8.2% as of Oct 2012? That's not so bad for a "decaying" city. Anyway, I discussed the possibility of relocating from Hartford to Syracuse with my dad, and he recommended against it, due to the extreme climate. It's too bad, because it looks like a beautiful and interesting place, from looking at pictures and stuff. Oh well, I'll continue to make more threads about other cities in other forums.

So, you've never to the area before? What's the new location? I know that you were looking at Denver and asked about areas that may fit your criteria, as well as asking about places that would cause culture shock for someone from New England.

I've only driven through Syracuse via I-90, but never actually exited off into the area.
You can't see any of Syracuse from 90 - it's north of the whole thing.
Yeah well I just spent a good 10-15 min on Google Maps doing the street view thing in random spots within the city. So I can basically say I was there. Nice try.
