I know this topic has been discussed before, but it is still amazing (and unnerving) that I-81 through Syracuse will have eclipsed its "useful life" in less than 4 years.
Here it is a little more than 4 years since the OP made this thread. Nothing has really changed either! Sad. Man the government is slower than molasses in January!

It will take even more time in order to get things accomplished once the decision is made on which way to go as well. I don't know if this is due to with indecision or more studying on the topic, but I agree that the sooner the better.
I drive to work every day though the I-81 in the city. I hope they delay the decision forever. If bridge is not in danger of falling down - it isn't - please don't touch it.

Just curious, but do you feel that the other options would be more of a hassle for you?
