Anyone else remember when Clay Park South used to have a large pond. I remember going down there as a kid and catching tadpoles...

I do not think people in the city or eastern or western suburbs realize that those who grew up in the flat northern suburbs have a decent sized hill to sled down in the winter months at Clay Park South.

Anyone know about a plan to build more walking trails in Clay? Seems like our civic leadership isn't thinking about the future as much they should be....

Anyone know the membership size of Clay's YMCA compared to the YMCA in Fayetteville?

Do you think the Town of Clay will finally exceed 60,000 in population in the 2010 census?

If Syracuse civic leadership really were forward thinking folks, I'd believe they'd have to consider building a hospital on Route 31 in Clay. The northern suburbs are well over 150,000 in population now and growing. All the hospitals in the area are in the city or in the western suburbs. If Destiny USA is built, traffic will increase on I-81 making it more difficult for ambulances to quickly reach a city hospital from the northern burbs. That's why a hospital on Route 31 in Clay just makes sense....

Neighbors have fought off every development proposal made at the northeast corner of Buckley and Bear Roads...so what type of development should go in there?
