What area was it located in?

Would you be open to other villages/areas too?

I saw one on Burnett and James Street. Burnett was okay but I did not care for James Street (2000s). I saw an apt in Kellars Lane in Liverpool and I really liked it. I have to show pay stubs or an offer letter. As soon as I get a contract on my home, I will start applying for jobs. I can really see myself there. If I do not get a job before I come, I will have to live in Eastwood because they are flexible.

I am open to other villages.

No offense, but those two streets run parallel to each other and do not intersect. They come close at North State Street though. Perhaps you were talking about James and Lodi or James and State? Burnet improves the further east you go from Downtown, especially after the little business district there between Teall and Peat. James gets better as you go up hill after say Oak Street near Sedgwick or so and is generally fine into Eastwood.

Kellars Lane is fine, but is outside of the village of Liverpool, if that matters. If you are open to the area in general, you may like Pinecrest Manor, which is behind the Taft Road Wegmans. Pinecrest Manor Apartments for Rent - Liverpool, NY Apartments | Apartment Finder

I am not sure what you mean. They were both in the 2000s. I am going to see a short term rental tomorrow on James street but it is much further down. Hopefully it will be okay.

I am okay with being outside the village. The drive is short. Pinecrest has the worst reviews. I am reluctant to check it out. I want that apt in Kellars Lane.

I thought that when you said Burnet and James, that it was at an intersection.

As for Pinecrest, you might be right according to this post: http://www.city-data.com/forum/17495035-post9.html

I saw another apartment on James Street and I did not like it. The one on Burnette was not bad but I am not sure if I want to commit to a 6 month lease. I really liked Kellar's Lane. I could see myself living there for a few years. I want to start applying for jobs this weekend but I am concerned they will not consider me because of my address. What should I do?

I am going to start with various websites such as Linkedin and Monster. Are there any CNY or Syracuse boards that I can post my resume on? I was concerned about housing but I just called a management co. in Liverpool and some buildings are open to considering savings as income.
