Hi

We are seriously looking at couple of houses in the Cicero Area (near Bay Rd x hwy 31).
We don't have kids yet and it seems like we get more for the money than in other suburbs (compared to J-D and F-M).

What is keeping me from putting in the offer is the swamp and mosquito issues that I've read in the papers and news.
So how bad is the mosquito problem in the area?
Any other problems that I should be aware of?

PS: the houses we are looking at are in the 350k range.

Thanks

Besides the potential mosquito issue(the Cicero swamp does get sprayed occasionally), I don't for see any other serious issues. With that said, ask around if you can.

Is this the only other area that you have looked at? There may be other areas that could work as well, especially at that price.

We asked a couple of people that live in the area that say mosquitoes are a problem but only for a couple of months in summer.
We are also looking at Clay and Camilus as well.

Thanks for your reply.
