My daughter lives in the area and I am wondering what (if any?) CHEAP airlines fly from Syracuse to sunny spots? Are there any deals you all hear of on your radio or whatever? When I looked for a little bit on the web, I was NOT finding any attractive deals at all. I hope I am missing something here. Are there no good deals to Florida for example? Any help/tip would be greatly appreciated.

Try Jetblue which now has service directly to Orlando. Don't know the rates, but it is usually very reasonable if you book ahead.

try jetblue. depending on the season and day of week you can get jetblue tickets for 99.00 a person, one way. We flew to Orlando from syracuse last April and that was our price, if we flew on a Tuesday. Otherwise it was around 200.00 a person, one way.

Try kayak.com to search all the major airlines. I'm not sure if they include JetBlue, which is the best option for everyday low prices.

You may also want to try jetblue for non-stop flights to Fort Lauderdale, as well as Orlando (non-stop). Depending on when you book, I have found better deals to Syracuse than Southwest to Buffalo or Albany. I have booked Northwest from Tampa to Syracuse via Detroit at the last minute (and I mean last minute) for $348.00 round trip.
